Northeast Ohio Regional Library System members have access to numerous and varied continuing education
and professional development opportunities in the form of workshops, webinars and conferences. In addition, membership provides the opportunity to network with colleagues through our numerous Network Groups
devoted to special interests and tracks. NEO-RLS recognizes the value of excellence in service by bestowing awards
for those new to the library world, seasoned library employees and advocates. Our career resources include workshops, webinars, Academies for Customer Service, Leadership
and New Supervisors,
day-long conferences such as our Critical Conversations and the Emerging Technology Symposium as well as Staff Development Day or Week. The NEO-RLS Jobline
provides access to job postings throughout the region, state and U.S. Broad involvement with other organizations throughout Ohio helps NEO-RLS keep its members informed of grant opportunities while helping inform our choice of programming and training.
Services are geared toward helping maximize use of your time and financial resources. Our agreements with major vendors such as Ingram and Baker and Taylor include discounts up to 45%.
In addition, members save on a wide variety of consulting services including strategic planning, staff day planning, e-rate filing,
and customized training. Gold, Silver and Bronze Members are also able to take advantage of significant cost-savings on circulating collections for STEAM e-kits, VR Console kits, Classroom kits, the e-Health and other Tech Labs.
Geographic Members enjoy many of the same services at additional cost.
