Hello. I trust that everyone has managed to get by these past few weeks given the rather interesting weather that we have had. I was in a minor fender bender two weeks ago (not my fault) and had to wait three hours for the police to arrive. When I got home, I couldn’t get in my driveway and had to park on the street. The next morning (no surprise) my car was buried due to the combined efforts of Mother Nature and the city snow plows. In dark hours such as these my mind drifts back to happier things like a plate full of Chocolate Chip Pancakes at the Pancake Pantry in Gatlinburg, Tennessee or a nice cold Conway’s Irish Ale at Great Lakes Brewery. I hope you were able to find your comfort zone these past few weeks as well....

Computers in Libraries Conference

The Computers in Libraries Conference will be held in Arlington, Virginia from April 12 -14, 2010. NEO-RLS is offering those planning on attending the opportunity to pay for the conference at the group rate price of $244 (as opposed to the $489 single person price). New Fiscal Officer

NEO-RLS would like to introduce their new Fiscal Officer, Rebecca Blackson, who joined the NEO-RLS staff January 11, 2010. Rebecca graduated in 1999 from Hiram College with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with emphasis in accounting. She is currently attending the University of Akron School of Law and will graduate with her Juris Doctorate in May, 2010. She was an Accountant at Ursuline High School in Youngstown, Ohio prior to coming to NEO-RLS. She is also a co-owner of a small business and has held positions of Accounting Manager in the manufacturing industry. Rebecca currently resides in Champion with her husband and two children.
