Technology Education, Consulting, and Support

NEO-RLS’s Technology team, headed by Shawn Walsh, keeps member libraries abreast of new and innovative technology applications. The technology staff provides training through continuing education workshops, consultation services on a wide range of technology issues, digitization equipment, and our latest edition, video conferencing and the digital classroom.

Shawn holds his BS/AS in Computer Information Systems from Youngstown State University. Starting his professional library experience in 1997, he has worked previously for the Hubbard Public Library as the Technology Administrator and NEO-RLS as the Technology Analyst. Shawn is responsible for developing and maintaining the communications and technology infrastructure of the North East Ohio Regional Library System and is responsible for providing contract based consulting services to the NEO-RLS membership.

Sean holds a Bachelors of Science in Math and Computer Science from Youngstown State University and has more than sixteen years experience in the technology field, including nine years serving as an Applications Developer at Commercial/Parker Hannifin in Youngstown. Sean is responsible for developing and maintaining the communications and technology infrastructure of the North East Ohio Regional Library System and is responsible for providing contract based consulting services to the NEO-RLS membership.
