He has a passion for making complex defensive controls easier to implement. As a hobby he develops open source software for the good of network defenders everywhere, including checkdmarc, dnsdb-python, parsedmarc, pywhoisxmlapi, and yaramail.

He writes a blog at seanthegeek.net covering information security and disability advocacy.
