introduce the NEO Networks formerly known as
Learning Groups. Networking is one of the
cornerstone services that regional library
systems were created to provide. We are
committed to improving networking among our
To do this, we’ve changed our Learning Groups
into “Networks!” What’s the difference?
- Our Networks will be led by enthusiastic and
creative NEO members who are determined to make
- Each Network will actually create and
contribute something that will benefit us all!
This “deliverable” might be a clearinghouse of
policies, an idea for a workshop or another
resource, such as a bibliography, that can be
shared with all NEO members.
- Meeting times, dates and membership itself
will be more flexible! Your staff can attend one
Network session, perhaps via videoconference or WebEX and then have someone else step in for
them at the next event. Groups will determine
their own venues, schedules and methods of
meeting – some of which will definitely involve
face-to-face interactions, but not all!
