Program Description:
Don't miss this year's Youth Services Symposium for teen librarians and staff. Watch the website for future updates.
The first day will start with our featured presenter, Tod Strasser, author of Mob Princess and Nighttime. Then we will talk about Teens and Technology. Then you will have the opportunity to choose two breakout sessions from the following topics:

The Guy-Friendly YA Library
- How They Got Published:
- A Genre Guide to Comic Books, Manga, and More
We will end with an evening presentation by author John Green, winner of the 2006 Michael L. Printz Award for his debut work of fiction, "Looking for Alaska."
The second day will start with Teen Programs that Work and will conclude with 500 Great Books for Teens.
The first day starts with registration from 9 a.m. - 10:0 a.m. The symposium starts at 10:15 and concludes in the evening at 8:30 p.m. The second day starts at 8:45 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m.
